The events of Galactic Crush take place in a parallel universe, where in retaliation to decades of evil and corruption, a dancer anti-hero and her tactical support side-kick musician, form a cheaply equipped and loosely organized crime-fighting power couple to exact justice! With good intentions and no experience whatsoever; they are a so-so summary of the contemporary reality in Beirut.
Dramatized figures on stage (with a light designer in the control room), go through episodes of Quixotic delirium of self-proclaimed heroism facing total despair; “Galactic Crush” flirts with the notion of fiction, in the hope of consoling it, at a time where an absurd reality has deprived fiction of its power to exaggerate.

تنقلنا أحداث عرض “جَلاكتيك كراش” إلى مدينة في عالمٍ موازٍ. هناك، وردّاً على عقودٍ من حكم الشرّ والفساد، تتحالف الراقصة البطلة-الخارقة، مع زميلها الموسيقي كمساعد لوجيستي (أو سايدكيك)، ليشكلّا ثنائي مكافحة جريمة. دون عتاد ولا تنظيم ولا من يحزنون؛ يهدفان إلى تطبيق العدالة وانتزاع الحقوق! متسلّحاً بنوايا حسنة وخبرة معدومة، يشكّل هذا الثنائي ملخصّاً لا بأس به عن الواقع الاجتماعي في بيروت.
“جَلاكتيك كراش” عرضُ رقص، بمؤديَين، تنتابهما جلطات “كيشوتية” من خلال تقديم أنفسهما – بمساعدة مدير الإضاءة بول سيف – بطلَين منقذَين في زمن اليأس. عرضٌ يطمحُ إلى مواساة مفهوم المتخيَّل (الفيكشن)، في مدينة انتَزَع واقعُها العبثي من المتخيَّل قدرتَه على المبالغة.
