Zoukak Theatre is pleased to announce the formation of its new Board of Trustees.
As we step into a new chapter, we welcome new members – Dr. Albert Moukheiber, Hilde Guri Bohlin, Stéphanie Dadour – alongside continuing trustees who share our commitment to Zoukak’s mission. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the trustees who have completed their term with us – Ziad Bou Akl, Nathalie Garraud, Daniella Geara-Chaumont. Their contributions have been instrumental in shaping Zoukak’s journey.

يسرّ مسرح زقاق الإعلان عن تشكيل مجلس أمنائه الجديد.
مع انطلاق فصل جديد في مسيرة زقاق، نرّحب بالأعضاء الجدد: الدكتور ألبير مخيبر، هيلدي غوري بولين، ستيفاني دادور الذين انضمّوا إلى جانب الأمناء القدامى الذين يواصلون دعمهم والتزامهم الراسخ برؤية ومهمّة زقاق. كما نتوجّه بخالص الشكر والامتنان إلى الأمناء الذين أنهوا فترة عملهم معنا: زياد بو عقل، ناتالي غارو، دانييل جعارة شومون. كانت مساهماتهم أساسيّة في صقل مسيرة زقاق.
يجمع هذا المجلس الجديد بين خبرات واسعة ومتنوّعة من مختلف أنحاء العالم ونتطلّع إلى تحقيق إنجازات جديدة مع إرشادهم ودعمهم.

New Trustees – الأمناء الجدد
Dr. Albert Moukheiber is a researcher in Neuroscience and a clinical psychologist. He spent 10 years working at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, focusing on anxiety disorders and resilience. For the past six years, he has been practicing privately while also teaching at Paris 8 University, where he gives lectures to Master’s students in clinical psychology and psychopathology.
In parallel, together with fellow researchers, he co-founded Chiasma, an organization dedicated to critical thinking and mental flexibility—particularly how we form opinions and how these shape our decision-making.
Albert is also a public speaker and works with companies to share the latest scientific insights on our cognition and behaviors, and how these influence our everyday lives.
He is the author of the best-selling book Your Brain Is Playing Tricks on You (Allary Editions, 2019), currently being adapted by Arte and translated into 12 languages. His latest book, Neuromania, was published in 2024. He is also the author of the children’s book The Not-So-Silly Brain (Bayard Editions).
الدكتور ألبير مخيبر هو باحث في علم الأعصاب ومعالج نفسيّ عيادي. أمضى عشر سنوات في مستشفى بيتييه-سالبيترير في باريس، حيث تخصّص في دراسة اضطرابات القلق وبناء آليات التحمّل والمرونة النفسية. ومنذ ست سنوات، يمارس العلاج النفسي في عيادته الخاصة، كما يُدرّس في جامعة باريس ٨، طلاب الماجستير في مساري علم النفس العيادي وعلم النفس المرضي.
بالتوازي مع عمله الأكاديمي والعيادي، شارك في تأسيس منظمة “شيازمة” إلى جانب مجموعة من الباحثين، وهي منصّة تُعنى بالتفكير النقدي والمرونة الذهنية، وبشكل خاص بكيفية تكوين الآراء وتأثيرها على عملية اتخاذ القرار.
ألبير أيضًا محاضر عام، ويتعاون مع شركات ومؤسسات لنقل أحدث المعارف العلمية حول الإدراك والسلوك البشري، وانعكاساتها المباشرة على تفاصيل الحياة اليومية.
ألّف كتاب “دماغك يخدعك”، 9102، الذي حاز على نجاح جماهيريّ واسع، وتعمل حاليًا قناة etrA على اقتباسه وترجمته إلى ١٢ لغة. أما أحدث مؤلفاته فهو كتاب “نيورومينيا: الدماغ بين الحقيقة والوهم”، الصادر عام 4202. كما كتب للأطفال كتابًا بعنوان “الدماغ غير الغبي على الإطلاق”.
Hilde Guri Bohlin is the director of Ibsen Scope and is responsible for planning and conducting Ibsen Scope Festival and Ibsen Scope Grants, which include 54 grant winning performances in 32 different countries and 12 volumes of Ibsen Scope Festival. In addition, she has co-produced theatre performances with various artists and companies like Zoukak Theatre Company, Lebanon, Theatre Anfass, Morocco, Robert M. Johanson/Sibyl Kempson, USA and Dramatikkens Hus, Norway to mention a few.
هيلدي غوري بولين هي مديرة برنامج “إبسن سكوب”، وهي المسؤولة عن التخطيط والإشراف على مهرجان “إبسن سكوب” ومنح “إبسن سكوب”، الذي يشمل ٥٤ عرضًا حائزًا على منح في ٣٢ دولة مختلفة، بالإضافة إلى ١٢ نسخة من المهرجان. إلى جانب ذلك، شاركت في إنتاج عروض مسرحيّة بالتعاون مع عدد من الفنّانين والفرق المسرحيّة، من بينها فرقة زقاق المسرحية (لبنان)، ومسرح أنفاس (المغرب)، وروبرت م. جوهانسون / سيبيل كيمبسون (الولايات المتحدة)، ودار الدراماتورجيا (النرويج)، وغيرهم.
Associate professor at the National School of Architecture Paris-Malaquais, Stéphanie Dadour is affiliated with the French Collaborative Institute on Migration since 2019 and researcher at the Architecture Culture Société research lab. She is co-editor-in-chief of the online peer-reviewed journal Métropolitiques and co-founder of Dadour de Pous Architecture office.
Interested in the spatial, cultural, and political dimensions of the domestic sphere, her early research allowed her to historicize the intersections between feminisms and architecture. More recently, she mobilizes feminist theories and epistemologies in her work, thus taking a critical look at architecture and its systems of ideas: stories, canonical texts and theories. Her latest research focuses on the reception and accommodation of exiles by citizens in France, through the home-making process.
Among her published books Des voix s’élèvent. Féminismes et Architecture, (Editions de la Villette, 2022), Enseigner l’architecture à Grenoble. Une histoire, des acteurs, une formation (with S. Le Vot, Editions Recherches), The Housing Project. Discourses, ideals, models and politics in 20th century exhibitions, (with G. Caramellino, Leuven University Press, 2020), and 1989, hors-champ de l’architecture officielle : Liban, (ACS, 2015).
أستاذة مشاركة في المدرسة الوطنيّة للهندسة المعمارية في باريس-مالاكويه، وعضو في “المعهد الفرنسي التعاونيّ للهجرة” منذ عام 9102، وباحثة في مختبر أبحاث “ثقافة المجتمع المعماري”. تشغل منصب رئيسة تحرير مشاركة في المجلة الأكاديميّة الإلكترونيّة “متروبوليتيك”، وهي أيضًا شريكة مؤسسة في مكتب “دادور دو بو” للهندسة المعمارية.
تهتمّ دادور بالأبعاد المكانيّة والثقافيّة والسياسيّة للحيّز المنزلي، وقد مكّنتها أبحاثها المبكرة من تأريخ تقاطعات النسوية والهندسة المعمارية. أما في أبحاثها الأخيرة، فتستند إلى النظريات النسوية وإبستمولوجياتها، لتقدّم قراءة نقدية للهندسة المعمارية وأنظمتها الفكرية، من سرديّات ونصوص مرجعية ونظريّات. تركّز أبحاثها الحالية على مسألة استقبال اللاجئين/المنفيين من قبل المواطنين في فرنسا، من خلال عملية بناء فضاء المنزل.

Continuing Trustees – الأمناء المستمرّون
Christopher Hibma is a non-profit leader in culture, strategy and international program design. He is currently the Executive Director of the iconic HB Studio in New York City and is the Founding Chair of Zoukak Theatre’s Board of Trustees. Formerly, he was the Global Director for Videos for Change, a member of Creative Capital’s National Advisory Council and the Founding Director for the FoodxFilm Festival for the Rockefeller Foundation. Christopher also served as the former Senior Artistic Producer for the Guthrie Theater and remains a member of Guild of Future Architects, a refuge for people shaping an inclusive & prosperous world. He has partnered with Ettijahat-Independent Culture in Lebanon, the Luma Fondation in France, D-CAF in Egypt, the Rolex Mentors & Protégés Arts Initiative in Switzerland, the Office of the King Mohammed VI and Dar al-Ma’mun in Morocco, the Kampala International Theatre Festival in Uganda, Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia and the Nairobi Musical Theatre Initiative in Kenya. He has served as a consultant to The Apollo Theater, the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art and the global design firm, IDEO. He is most proud of his role as Philip Himberg’s producing partner at the Sundance Institute Theatre Program where they grew one of the world’s leading brands and most diverse rosters of artists.
كريستوفر هيبما رائدٌ في المجال غير الربحيّ في قطاعات الثقافة، والاستراتيجيّات، وتصميم البرامج الدولية. هو المدير التنفيذيّ لمؤسسة oiduts BH، كما أنّه الرئيس المُؤسّس لمجلس أُمناء مسرح زُقاق. شغل سابقًا منصب المدير العامّ لمنصّة “فيديو للتغيير”، وكان عضوًا في المجلس الاستشاريّ الوطنيّ لـ “كرييتف كابيتال”، وكذلك المدير المؤسّس لمهرجان “فودكس فيلم”، التابع لمؤسسة روكفلر. شغل كريستوفر سابقًا منصبَ المُنتج الفنّي الرئيسي لمسرح غوثري. ولا يزال عضوًا في “رابطة مهندسي المستقبل”، وهي ملاذٌ للسّاعين/ات إلى تشكيل عالمٍ مزدهرٍ وشاملٍ للجميع. دخل في شراكاتٍ مع كلٍّ من: اتّجاهات-ثقافة مستقلّة في لبنان، و”مؤسّسة لوما” في فرنسا، ودي كاف D-CAF في مصر، ومبادرة رولكس لمُرشدي/ات ورُعاة الفنون في سويسرا، ومكتب الملك محمّد السادس ودار المأمون في المغرب، ومهرجان كمبالا الدولي للمسرح في أوغندا، وجامعة أديس أبابا في إثيوبيا، ومبادرة نيروبي للمسرح الموسيقيّ في كينيا. وسبق لكريستوفر أن عمل مستشارًا لكلٍّ من مسرح أبولو، ومتحف ماساتشوستس للفنّ المعاصر، وشركة التصميم العالمية OEDI. ويفخر كريستوفر بشكل خاصّ بدوره كشريك إنتاج لفيليب هيمبرغ في إدارة برنامج المسرح في معهد صندانس، حيث بنا معًا أحد أبرز البرامج الفنّيّة وأكثرها تنوّعًا في العالم.
Philip Himberg is a consultant for artist residencies as well as a theatrical dramaturg who resides in Lisbon, Portugal. For 23 years, he served as the Artistic Director of the Sundance Institute Theatre Program – a developmental lab for American, Middle Eastern and North and East African theatre makers. He was Executive Director of MacDowell, the US’s first artist residency program between 2019-2023. He serves as Vice Chair of the board of Action For Hope, an NGO based in Beirut and Amman. He is Past Board President of Theatre Communications Group and served on the Tony Awards Nomination Committee. Philip is also a playwright, whose play PAPER DOLLS, an adaptation of the documentary film, premiered in London and Washington, DC. Philip is also a licensed doctor of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
فيليب هيمبرغ هو مستشارٌ للإقامات الفنّيّة ودراماتورج مسرحيّ، يقيم حاليًا في لشبونة، البرتغال. على مدى 32 عامًا، شغل منصب المدير الفنّي لبرنامج المسرح في معهد صندانس، وهو مختبرٌ تنمويٌّ لصانِعي/ات المسرح من الولايات المتحدة، والشرق الأوسط، وشمال وشرق إفريقيا. بين عامي 9102 و3202، تولّى منصب المدير التنفيذي لبرنامج “ماكدويل”، وهو أوّل برنامجٍ للإقامات الفنّيّة في الولايات المتحدة. يشغل حاليًا منصب نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية العمل للأمل، وهي منظّمةٌ غير حكوميّةٍ مقرّها في بيروت وعمّان. فيليب هو الرئيس السّابق لمجموعة التواصل المسرحيّ، كما شارك في لجنة الترشيح ل”جوائز توني”. كما أنّه كاتبٌ مسرحيّ، افتُتحَت عروض مسرحيّته (دُمى من ورق) – المُقتبَسة من الفيلم الوثائقيّ – في لندن وواشنطن العاصمة. وهو أيضًا طبيبٌ مرخّص في الطبّ الصّيني والوخز الإبريّ.
Tiago Prata is a cultural manager, entrepreneur and journalist with over 10 years-experience of transnational collaboration with more than 30 countries. He is from Portugal, based in Sweden, active across Europe. Director of Transversal Project, an impact-driven cultural agency helping cities, cultural institutions and creative businesses to work with culture across disciplines and borders. Instigator of Borderline Offensive, a transnational artistic platform exploring how humor can facilitate social debate about serious and difficult topics. Strategist of European Creative Rooftop Network, a network of cities developing rooftops as a new type of environmentally, economically and socially sustainable urban space.
تياغو براتا مديرٌ ثقافيٌّ ورجل أعمالٍ وصحافيٌّ يتمتع بخبرةٍ تزيد عن 10 سنواتٍ في التعاون العابر للحدود مع جهاتٍ في أكثر من 30 دولة. هو من البرتغال، لكنّه مقيمٌ في السويد وينشط في جميع أنحاء أوروبا. يُدير تياغو مشروع “ترانسفيرسال”، وهي وكالةٌ ثقافيةٌ تدعم المُدُن والمؤسّساتِ الثقافية والشّركات الإبداعية للعمل في المجال الثقافيّ عبر التخصّصات والحدود. هو أيضًا أحد مؤسّسي “بوردرلاين أوفنسيف”، وهي منصّةٌ فنّيةٌ عابرةٌ للبلدان تستكشفُ كيف يُمكن للفُكاهة أن تسهّل النقاشات المُجتمعيّة في شأن المواضيع الجدّية والصّعبة. يعمل تياغو مخطّطًا استراتيجيًا في الشبكة الأوروبية للأسطح الإبداعية، وهي شبكةٌ تضمّ مُدُنًا تُطوّر أسطُحَ منازلها لتكون مساحاتٍ حضَريةً مُستدامةً بيئيًا، واقتصاديًا واجتماعيًا.
Walid M. Zorkot is a prominent Lebanese lawyer renowned for his extensive expertise in corporate law, international transactions, and public law. With a career spanning over two decades, Walid has made significant contributions to the legal field, particularly in energy, telecommunications, and media.
In 2003, Walid founded Zorkot Law Firm, where he served as Managing Director and Attorney-at-Law. Since 2018, Walid has been the driving force behind Laws & Rights Firm, a member of Aliant International. As the Founder, Partner, and Head of Corporate, he has led the firm in establishing legal entities, negotiating and reviewing a myriad of contracts, and providing strategic corporate guidance. Walid’s legal expertise is not confined to corporate transactions. He has provided invaluable legal consultation for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Lebanon, focusing on creating legal structures for collaboration between UNDP and Lebanese NGOs.
Walid holds a Bachelor of Laws from Lebanese University. His membership in the Beirut Bar Association underscores his commitment to the legal profession and his standing in the legal community.
وليد م. زرقط هو محامٍ لبناني بارز يتمتع بخبرة واسعة في القانون التجاري، والمعاملات الدولية، والقانون العام. وعلى مدى أكثر من عقدين من الزمن، قدّم وليد إسهاماتٍ كبيرة في المجال القانوني، لا سيما في قطاعات الطاقة والاتصالات والإعلام.
في عام 2003، أسّس وليد مكتب زرقط للمحاماة، حيث شغل منصب المدير العام والمحامي. ومنذ عام 2018، يقود وليد شركة “القوانين والحقوق” للمحاماة، وهي عضو في شبكة “أليانت انترناشيونال”. وبصفته المؤسس والشريك ورئيس قسم الشركات، تولّى قيادة المكتب في تأسيس الكيانات القانونية، والتفاوض على عدد كبير من العقود ومراجعتها، وتقديم الإرشاد الاستراتيجي في الشؤون القانونية للشركات.
لا تقتصر خبرته القانونية على المعاملات التجارية، فقد قدّم استشارات قانونية قيّمة لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في لبنان، ركّز فيها على إنشاء أطر قانونية للتعاون بين البرنامج والمنظمات غير الحكومية اللبنانية.
يحمل وليد إجازة في الحقوق من الجامعة اللبنانية، وهو عضو في نقابة المحامين في بيروت، ما يعكس التزامه الراسخ بالمهنة القانونية ومكانته في المجتمع القانوني.

Dala Fakhreddine is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist.
After finishing her degree in clinical and psychopathological psychology, she specialized in the field of addiction, in France in 2002, and started her work in that domain ever since. In 2007, she started working at Skoun, one of the first outpatient treatment centers in Lebanon and one of the group of centers and professionals who lobbied to legalize OST in Lebanon.
Throughout the last 10 years, she participated as speaker and trainer in several workshops in Lebanon and abroad. She also teaches classes in specialized diplomas for addiction, addressed to professionals in the field.
Alongside her work at Skoun, she also held a clinical psychologist position in the psychiatry department of Mount Lebanon Hospital from 2010 till 2022. She worked individually and in groups with hospitalized patients. And during these 12 years, she supervised Masters 1 level students.
Additionally, she holds a private practice in the field since 2010.
داله فخر الدين مختصّةٌ في علم النفس العياديّ ومعالِجةٌ نفسيّة.
بعد نيلها الشهادة في علم النفس السّريري والمرَضيّ، انتقلَت إلى فرنسا في عام 2002 حيث تخصّصَت في مجال الإدمان، وبدأَت عملها فيه منذ ذلك الحين. في عام 7002، انضمَّت للعمل مع جمعيّة سكون، أوّل مراكز في لبنان للعلاج الخارجيّ من الإدمان، وأحد المراكز والجهات المهنيّة التي تضغط لتشريع العلاج ببدائل الموادّ الأفيونيّة في البلاد. على مدى الأعوام العشرة الماضية، شاركَت داله متحدّثةً ومدرّبةً في العديد من ورشِ العمل في لبنان والخارج. وهي تُدرّس فصولًا في الدبلوم المتخصّص في الإدمان الموجّه إلى المهنيّين/ات المختصّين/ات. وإلى جانب عملها في جمعيّة سكون، شغلَت داله أيضًا منصبَ مختصّة عيادية في قسم الطّب النفسيّ في مستشفى جبل لبنان بين عامَي 0102 و2202، حيث عملَت مع المرضى بشكلٍ فرديّ وجماعي. وفي خلال الأعوام الـ 12 الماضية، أشرفَت على طلّاب درجة الماجستير ١. ومنذ عام 0102، تمارس داله العلاج النفسيّ في عيادةٍ خاصّةٍ بها في بيروت.
Maya Chami is a graphic designer and digital artist based in Beirut. She has been involved in broader cultural work including organizing art exhibitions and auctions and managing art books from content to publishing.
Her live audiovisuals performances include “Transitional Digital Objects”, “Of Men, Champagne and Victory Aside”, “The Promise of a Field”, “How to draw a ripple”.
Her work springs from interpersonal narratives employing theory leading to practice.
Maya holds a BS in Graphic Design from the Lebanese American University and a MA (with merit) in Digital Arts from Camberwell College of Arts, University of Arts, London.
مايا الشامي هي مصمّمة غرافيك وفنّانة رقميّة تقيم في بيروت. انخرطت في العمل الثقافي ضمن مجالات متعدّدة، من تنظيم المعارض الفنّيّة والمزادات، إلى الإشراف على الكتب الفنّيّة بمختلف مراحلها، من إعداد المحتوى حتى النشر.
ينبع عملها من سرديّات شخصيّة تتناول العلاقات بين الأفراد، وتوظّف النظرية كمدخل إلى الممارسة.
تحمل مايا شهادة بكالوريوس في تصميم الغرافيك من الجامعة اللبنانية الأميركية، وماجستير (بتقدير امتياز) في الفنون الرقميّة من كلية كامبرويل للفنون – جامعة الفنون، لندن.
