Limbo of the White Sea
Lebanon has been witnessing continuous acts of migration, repeating patterns of “conquering the west” by sea, since centuries.
Weaving fictional narratives and real stories stemming family history, including several generations of migrants since the late 1890s, this installation brain maps past and on-going acts of migration, reflecting on how people construct homes and what they aspire for as they constantly move across sea and ocean.
