Nada holds a master degree in Environmental Sciences and Management from the Saint Joseph University, Lebanon. She has more than 10 years of experience in various fields (environmental, cultural and agriculture & development) and positions. She has worked as a Local Development Agent – in the ADELNORD project with Earth Link & Advanced Resource Development in Akkar and Donniyeh villages. She also worked as a Hima Research Officer with the Birdlife International Official National Partner, the Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL), participating as a speaker in many seminars and conferences worldwide organized by the EWNHS (Adis Ababa, 2014), Parcs Nationaux de France (Var, 2010), USFS-SPNL (Beirut, 2010) and Birdlife International (Buenos Aires, 2008).
She also worked in the cultural field as a Program Manager with Ettijahat-Independent culture, Assabil Association and Culture for All. She joined Zoukak as a programs coordinator in August 2019.
Nada participated in many trainings and workshops in the United States, France, Jordan, United Kingdom and Syria, on various topics such as Advancing Youth Leadership on Sustainable development, Bird identification, monitoring, ringing and GPS positioning, Biodiversity and wildlife research methodologies, Environmental Impact Assessment, Cannon netting and mist-netting Waders, Geographic Information System, Procurement and implementation of grant contracts according to the European Union procedures for EU External Actions (2012), Project design and proposal writing, and Volunteer Management.
She had studied violin at the National Conservatory of Lebanon for 7 years and is currently continuing her studies (Grade VI) at the Hamazkayin – Ganatchian Music School and is an alto singer within the USJ (Saint Joseph University) choir.
