Omar Abi Azar at Sundance Theatre Lab
This year, Omar Abi Azar, a founding member of Zoukak Theatre Company, will take part in Sundance Institute’s Theatre Lab as a creative advisor. There, he will attend the rehearsals for eight projects participating in the lab, engage in conversations with the projects’ creative teams and help them to reflect on ways to further develop their works-in-progress. He will be joined by other theatre makers and designers from around the world: Oskar Eustis, Rachel Hauck and Indhu Rubasingham. Omar previously took part in the Sundance Theatre Lab in 2017 with Zoukak to develop the play “I Hate Theatre, I Love Pornography”.
