Synopsis:
Living with a piece of furniture is a hybrid performance that follows two stories simultaneously; the one of a man (my grandfather) whose soul is disappearing from his house, and the one of his family who is heavily invested in the crazy stories of their village. You will have the choice to choose the story you would like to follow. If you look to the right, side of the mind, you will be immersed in the gossiping culture of the Mount-Lebanon region and laugh on the crazy adventures of the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, but you won't be able to feel the story of the person who re-lived through his chair.
And if you look to the left side of the heart, you will meet an artist, feel his struggles, and travel inside his core, you might experience the feeling of solitude, pain, and loss, but you will miss all the fun happening on the right.
Supported by Zoukak Theatre within Kawalis Zoukak - Mentorship Program of the year 2022.
