"I saw and still see special pride, attention, preference and admiration in the relationship between my parents and my brother. This issue was never related to the amount of love they have for him, because they have always been a source of passion and affection for all of us, I mean we – the three girls- and my brother. It is a matter of values that were transferred from our ancestors about how to raise and deal with the male member of the family."
« Fa'addebhou li » interrogates the construction of the male body in the Arab world.
Parents usually pray the following prayer to ask for the righteousness of their children. We chose this prayer to be the title of our show : “Dear God, you know that I have tried to educate my son. But I have failed. Dear God, train him up for me”.
