Youssef Khalil, Azul, 2024

Azul is a play that explores social and psychological themes. It follows the journey of two characters trapped in chaos. A conflict arises between them: one yearns for freedom and self-liberation, while the other clings to the safety of her own shell. As their struggle unfolds, we witness broader themes from daily life—love, ambition, limitations, and fear—interwoven into their story.

The play leaves us questioning: will one character prevail, or is life inherently a shade of gray? This is not merely a clash between two characters, but a reflection of a deeper human struggle, allowing each audience member to see a part of themselves in the characters and their journey.
