Utah, USA  13-30 July 2017

Zoukak's company members were invited to the Sundance Theatre Lab in Utah for a two-week residency to develop I Hate Theatre I Love Pornography. The performance that was started in Norway in 2014, saw a new light in the inspiring studios of the Sundance Resort in the mountains of Utah. The process culminated in an open studio presentation open to fellow artists and producers.

I Hate Theatre I Love Pornography is an investigation on the various forms of corruption plaguing today’s world. It questions how we position ourselves as artists and individuals with regards to this corruption, by creating a parallelism between the performative body, the pornographic body and the corpse.
